My girls kept passing it off to me because their fingers were too cold! And I'm glad to know table salt works well, too! I'm not sure why the original recipe said to not use table salt, I don't see what difference it could make. We always use Kosher for baking, so that's what we had on hand. It's such a fun recipe! I'm tempted to try it with cream sometime, too. Or maybe try mixing in chocolate syrup instead of the sugar. I'm a chocolate girl. *l*Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08028505458020859441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5953685907835447516.post-32509927341620006812009-05-20T17:58:42.137-07:002009-05-20T17:58:42.137-07:00Yep! (I wrapped the bag in a towel because our fingers were getting cold!) The consistency was great, and the flavor wonderful! (we happened to have whole milk so we used that) Thanks for a great idea!Tesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14646195403004851358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5953685907835447516.post-90833344585567260492009-05-20T08:42:14.784-07:002009-05-20T08:42:14.784-07:00Hi Mom. I thought it was sea salt, but DH let me know Kosher is different. I don't know why regular table salt wouldn't work, I'd say try it! If you do, let me know if it works!Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08028505458020859441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5953685907835447516.post-32385160710938510092009-05-19T23:23:48.675-07:002009-05-19T23:23:48.675-07:00I chuckled all the way through this, you clever gi...I chuckled all the way through this, you clever girl! Where'd you get your writer's flair, anyway? That sounds fun. Do you need to use sea salt or will plain old regular salt do? - Love, MomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5953685907835447516.post-33424911331002956022009-05-18T21:24:07.804-07:002009-05-18T21:24:07.804-07:00Oh, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!
